You are a beast hunter, conscripted against your will to participate in a most peculiar local custom: a tournament where participants race atop mysterious vehicles comprised of copper and steam.
Race through blood-soaked gothic streets atop one of 12 unique vehicles as you seek answers behind the origin of this nightmare. Wield powerful weapons to reduce your opponents to scrap, slaughter beasts to raise your top speed, perform tricks and drifts to generate Æther to boost, and overcome challenging boss encounters to unlock the secrets behind this terrible dream.

the fact that the game’s getting review-bombed on steam by anti-woke chuds who equate anything regarding trans people with “politics” is kinda sad
anyways i haven’t played the game yet, but i probably will just to piss off the chuds
lmao the chad studs picked it for an award, it was the dev having a meltdown over it and calling them names that provoked the review bombs. You're literally playing a game that was supported by da chuds, boy/girl/thing.

yeah. mostly not contacting developers for permission was a red flag for that and i only care about this game cuz of it's concept and love the idea as well

Fun races, rewarding battles, great music, good feel, good weapons, cool characters, nice references, full cutscenes, multiple match types, fast saves, new game + achievements and more!
Play this game, it's so much fun whether you love Souls or Kart games, but even if you just love one of those, it's a blast!

I absolutely LOVE this game. I grew up with the original Playstation and the Twisted Metal Series and have loved car combat games ever since. This game has a beautiful aesthetic and was so worth waiting for. Thank you LWMedia! Everything is very well done and I've been really enjoying it. So far I have 96 minutes on it and I played it for the first time on my Twitch stream yesterday. The only issue I had was my brain for some reason fell into ps1 mode and I didn't comprehend that I shoot behind and beside me like that of ps2 games. (That's how convincing this is) Even down to the UI is just beautiful. Below is the timestamped vod of me playing it. You can jump forward to when I finally figured out what I was doing for the Gregory fight at 2:58:36 if you want to skip me getting used to the game. I'd also like to note that the variation in game modes reminds me of WWE Crush Hour on PS2 (I mean this is the best way possible to represent variety and fun since most people didn't like that game but I did)
Game was short but an absolute BOMB! Especially the vast amount of graphics options too. This game was super fun to play especially since you get more and more new game+ modes.

This game wants to take an aesthetic of play station games, but it is only appearance. The game cannot be played on any platform other than PC.

honestly i have been playing alot of indie games here on itch.io and so i wan not expecting a full blown gaming experience, what i assumed was going to be a 30 minute concept or school project became a game i have sunk hours into now and i look forward to its development, honestly my current favorite game i have found here on itch.io and wish you all the best in your endeavors! to anyone reading , i beg you to check it out and throw a few USD towards it to help fund!

Seems to always start fullscreen and forget resolution settings. Not being able to rebind steering is problematic.
Still can't use anything besides A+D to steer on keyboard without using a keymapper. Considering how many similar games use arrow keys to steer instead, this is still absolutely a deal-breaker for my immersion.

I'd much rather have Bloodborne 2 or a PC port for 1. This however, will suffice.
