The first major update (1.02) is out, here are all the bug fixes:
Windowed mode.
Fixed the 'Cleric Beast standing still' bug.
Fixed a bug where the gate shortcut became inaccessible when returning to the deep sewers.
Throwing knives were doing double damage. This has been fixed.
Bad geometry in the basement level could result in getting stuck, fixed.
Henryk will now properly drop his attire on death during the 'friendly Eileen' version of her side quest.
Fixed 'infinite sword glitch' bug exclusive to the torch.

Hi. how should i get this Update?
so one thing that kinda bothers me... it's a very small thing, but since this tries to replicate PS1 feel... it is kind of a weird thing...
why is Circle the "Go Back"/Cancel button? that was not really a thing on PS1. you either had the Japanese style Circle = Yes and X = No or you had the western standard at the time which was X = Yes and Triangle = No
I can't think of a single game on PS1 where X = Yes, Circle = No was a thing
I know I know, as I said, very small little insignificant detail... BUT! if that would be added as an option it would make an already extremely well made game even better IMO
Ehhhh, Most games on the PS1 (at least in the west) would accept circle OR triangle, It was more down to whichever the player wanted to use.
I for one almost always use circle because I am used to it
BUT that being said I can see some people liking the option
do you have an example for a game that accepts circle as the back button? I didn't try in every game I played on PS1, but at least the UI will usually tell you to press Triangle. same on PS2. and on PS2 I know miltiple games where circle does not work. I play more PS2 stuff than PS1 stuff in recent years, which is why PS2 examples are fresh in my memory.
But I think I still know some PS1 examples. Most Sony published games will only accept Triangle and stuff like God Hand on PS2 will also only accept Triangle. same with Shadow of Rome I think and Time Splitters 1-3
those are the ones I am 100% certain about

So it makes complete sense for it to be this way.

Graphics settings don’t save on subsequent launches. App Volume also doesn’t, always launches at an ear bleeding 100%. Looking forward to fix. Thanks for patch dev
Can I update the game without loosing my progress?
cannot wait to get home to finish this, I have loved every second of it, and yes I have played Bloodborne to completion 3 times, and this demake is amazing. Thank you all

Fantastic work, I look forward to whatever you work on next. Just beat your secret boss and now have to replay things now that I know Eileen has a full side quest I missed the first time.
is it possivble to actually plug in at most a ps4 controller and play with it?
Yes, as long as you have DS4Windows. Otherwise you can map it with Steam Big Picture but that might not be as easy.
Fantastic work on this de-make!! Just finished a 1.5 hour initial playthrough of this and had such a blast so far! One quick note (and it may be fixed in this patch already) but during my Cleric Beast fight, he completely disappeared and I become locked in the battle arena with his health meter and no one to fight and no where to go! Easy enough to load the last save, but just thought this could be a helpful report in case no one else has mentioned.
